A Variety of Activities
This is one of the most highly anticipated activities at the festival. During the event, several chefs participate in the Crab Cake Cook-Off in Fort Bragg. While you wait to see who’s crowned the best, try wine from America’s greenest wine region, local craft beer, and other Mendocino-origin cuisines. (There’s nothing like a glass of dry, white wine to work up your appetite!) Tickets are $85 for general admission and $130 for a seat at the Circle of Claws.
The Cioppino Dinner is one of the most popular traditions of the Mendocino Crab, Wine, and Beer Festival. It’s held annually at the Historic Pentecost Hall in Fort Bragg and features a family-style meal with fresh seafood, bread from Café Beaujolais, tossed salad, and rich ice cream. You can even pair your dishes with wine from Mendocino wineries and vineyards or a beer from North Coast Brewing. Tickets are $40 per person.
In addition to the dinner, guests are welcome to attend a silent auction and raffle. Make sure you set aside some time to explore other culinary events, like the Crab Dinner at the Little River Inn and the All-You-Can-Eat Crab Feed at the Fort Bragg Fire House!
Calling all wine lovers! Go on a journey down Highway 101 with Barrel Tasting 101 and indulge in the best blends from Hopland, Ukiah, and the Redwood Valley. Sample a variety of featured wines, some of which haven’t been released to the public yet!
