What’s Happening This Year

Not only will you indulge in carefully curated provisions, but also enjoy the cultural and natural elements that supplement the charm of Mendocino. Here’s what you’ll experience at the wonderful Mendocino Crab, Wine, and Beer Festival!

The Seasoned Cook-Off

Chefs produce thousands of these delights at the beloved Crab Cake Cook-Off in Fort Bragg and hope to be crowned the best. While you’re there, enjoy vino from America’s Greenest Wine Region, local craft beer, and other Mendocino-origin cuisines. There will also be a live auction, silent auction, and a raffle. Tickets are $85 for general admission and $130 for a seat at the Circle of Claws.

The Dinner Menus

The Cioppino Dinner is perhaps one of the most popular traditions of the Mendocino Crab, Wine, and Beer Festival. Held annually at the Historic Pentecost Hall in Fort Bragg, indulge in a family-style meal with fresh seafood, bread from Café Beaujolais, tossed salad, and rich ice cream. Pair your dishes with wine from Mendocino wineries and vineyards or a beer from North Coast Brewing. Tickets are $40 for adults!  In addition, a silent auction and raffle take place, as well as other culinary events!

The Exceptional Wine TastingsMendocino wineries and vineyards

Barrel Tasting 101 is a marvelous event that takes you on a journey down Highway 101 to indulge in some of the best blends in Hopland, Ukiah, and Redwood Valley. You’ll be treated to sample of future featured wines, not yet been released to the public. The Various Forms of Art

Intertwined in the fabric of our community, art remains a defining characteristic of our local culture. During this event, tour the magnificent Mendocino Art Center. Peruse the juried exhibit just for the festival through the mediums of paintings, photography, and sculptures. Gualala Arts will also be hosting festivities throughout the Mendocino Crab, Wine, and Beer Festival. The Place to See

Enjoy the From Forest to Table event, a part of the Mendocino Crab, Beer, and Wine Festival, that takes you down winding paths. Rent a bike and explore the Big River Estuary, as well as stop along the way for facts about crabs in our area. Another one of the unique ways to sightsee is aboard the Skunk Train.
