Wander Along the Noyo Headlands Park Fort Bragg Coastal Trail
When you travel to the Noyo Headlands Park, you will have the opportunity to hike along the beautiful Fort Bragg Coastal Trail. Surrounded by open fields and headlands, the 8-foot-wide paved trail is the focal point of the park. Hikers will journey along rugged clifftops and pass the spectacular Glass Beach in the MacKerricher State Park. Continuing south, you’ll venture past the Dynamite Shack and out to the new dog park. An immaculate stretch of coastline is open for exploring from dawn until dusk, among other secret nooks you will love!

MacKerricher State Park

You’ll discover a variety of habitats and terrains throughout the park, from beach to bluff to headland to forest to wetland. Explore MacKerricher State Park tide pools along the shore for interesting sea creatures. Bring a pair of binoculars to see over 90 species of feathered friends take flight. Or, rent a mountain bike and take to the trails for a forest adventure. You’ll love discovering the breathtaking views and unforgettable experiences that await at MacKerricher State Park.
Glass Beach
Located in the MacKerricher State Park, the Glass Beach in Fort Bragg features some lovely areas to explore. The main attraction, of course, is the beautiful Glass Beach Trail. Be sure to have your camera ready to capture the colorful seashore that awaits! During your visit, we encourage you to look for your favorite sea glass colors, but please don’t take any. Preservation is key! There are many sparkling colors along the beach.
