About This Harmonious Happening
In 1983, the Symphony of the Redwoods opened for its first orchestra and consisted of a small group of 27 talented musicians. Over the years, the ensemble includes between 40 and 50 members, each of these musicians hails from Mendocino, Fort Bragg, and even San Francisco. In addition to the extraordinary concerts and Opus performances, these members utilize their musical talents to benefit charity fundraisers, salons, and other places like the Mendocino Music Festival and the Mendocino Art Center. You don’t want to miss a moment of this wonderful event!

2017 Fall Concert
This year’s fall concert occurs in the early November at the Cotton Auditorium. This two-day event provides an evening performance and following day matinee. Last year, this showcase featured a Latin-inspired lineup of lively renditions and soulful sounds. For the 2017 performance, no one has been chosen yet, but keep checking back for more updates.
2018 Winter Concert
Start your new year with a sweet-sounding start by attending the Symphony of the Redwoods at the Cotton Auditorium. Typically held at the end of January, this concert provides an evening show and following day afternoon showcase. From local composers to event sponsors, you’re sure to hear a lovely mix of composers for an evening filled with the classics.
2018 Spring Concert
Welcome the blooming season of spring by attending the wondrous Symphony of the Redwoods at the beginning of April. This performance will be at the Cotton Auditorium following the same schedule as the other two concerts.
